How GRAB-ber Pay Works

The GRAB-ber Pay Model

We know that GRAB-bers like you have many opportunities to work with and delivery for various companies, but WE WANT YOU! This is why we have created a pay model that is super competitive, and designed to make earnings not only fair, but as clear and transparent for every delivery as possible.

Below is a more detailed description for how earnings work.

Here’s the GRAB my pay equation! : Base Pay  +  Promotions  +  Extra Bags   +  Tips  = Total Earnings

Base Pay

·       1 Bag GRAB: $15

·       2-4 Bag GRABS: $20

·       5-10 Bag GRABS: $27

Promotions

·       Varies

Extra Bags

$1 for each bag over 10 bags per order; only eligible for additional bags added to 5-10 Bag GRAB

Tips

Varies, but 100% of tips added by customers per delivery are yours, on top of Base Pay and any eligible Promotions

Total Earnings

Always base pay based on package customer books + any eligible Promotions and Tips, which vary per delivery

Base Pay

Base pay is Grab My Bag’s base contribution for each completed delivery, per order. We consider a completed delivery for an order a “GRAB.”

The base pay, is dependent on the package that the customer books or number of bags being delivered after 10 bags, in the case of larger orders.

If a customer books a 1 Bag GRAB, you will receive $15 base pay for that GRAB; if they book a 2-4 Bag GRAB, you will receive $20 for that GRAB; if they book a 5-10 Bag GRAB, you will receive $27 for that GRAB, plus $1 for every additional bag they add to the order. Our 5-10 Bag GRAB is the only package eligible to add additional bags to the order.

Deliveries that require GRAB-bers to travel a longer distance, and/or that are expected to take more time, and/or that may be less popular with GRAB-bers, occasionally will have a higher base pay or some sort of extra incentive for its acceptance. This is not guaranteed and you will not know before accepting the GRAB if the extra base pay or incentives apply. We do this so we can keep the opportunities that come in fair for everyone. If we tell you ahead of time there’s a perk involved, GRAB-bers that are first up on the list would always have the opportunity to GRAB them, and we want to spread the money love!

A GRAB-ber’s base pay will not change based on the customer tip amount.

Acceptance Screen

To ensure that every GRAB-ber on the platform continues to be treated fairly and has access to consistent earnings, the offer amount you will now see on the acceptance screen will be the minimum amount that you will earn for each delivery. Your earnings upon the completion of the delivery may be greater than that offer amount, and you will see that reflected immediately in your earnings for that delivery upon completion.

Please note that customers are also able to tip after the delivery if they chose not to do so at checkout, which may increase your total earnings per delivery. You’ll receive a push notification when a customer adds a post tip on any previous order and will see an updated earnings breakdown for that delivery. Nothing is changing about how GRAB-ber pay is calculated.

Promotions

Promotions are additional pay for orders that meet certain conditions — giving GRAB-bers an opportunity to earn even.

Tips

Customers can leave a tip when they check out or after the delivery is completed. 100% of tips are yours on top of base pay and promotions. The amount Grab My Bag pays will never vary based on the tip amount. For example, for two identical deliveries where one customer leaves a $2 tip and another customer leaves a $7 tip, one GRAB-ber will earn $5 more than the other.
